The three historians will discuss Professor Anderson’s 2021 book, The Second: Race and Guns in a Fatally Unequal America, which explores the racial history of the Second Amendment. They will also reflect on the scourge of mass shootings–from Buffalo to Highland Park–that have made this difficult history all the more sadly relevant.
