– The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that held that only the federal government, not private litigants, could bring lawsuits under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which prohibits voting practices that discriminate on the basis of race;

– The decision by the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump’s Georgia prosecution to not send one of Trump’s co-defendants to jail over recent social media posts targeting witnesses; and

– The forthcoming hearing about Trump’s motions to dismiss the Georgia charges.
