Joyce Vance:

From CAFE and the Vox Media Podcast Network, welcome to CAFE Insider. I’m Joyce Vance. Preet is out this week, so we’re joined by a very special guest, my friend Michael Dreeben. Michael served in the Solicitor General’s office for over 30 years, including 24 years as the Deputy Solicitor General in charge of the criminal docket. He’s argued over a hundred cases in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Justice Department, and he’s briefed many, many more. Michael, thank you for taking time to be with us this morning.

Michael Dreeben:

Thank you, Joyce. It’s a pleasure to join you.
