Joyce Vance:

From CAFE and Vox Media Podcast Network, welcome to CAFE Insider. I’m Joyce Vance. And with us today is my longtime friend and former colleague, Jim Cavanaugh. Jim is a former Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Special Agent in Charge, the kind of person directors relied on for candid advice about the state of the field. Jim is currently a law enforcement analyst for NBC news. Thanks for being with me today, Jim.

Jim Cavanaugh:

Joyce, so glad to be with you, and thanks for having me.
