Dear Reader,
Ten months on from the insurrection at the Capitol, I want you to consider this opening sentence from an opinion piece:
"In the days and hours leading up to the counting of the electoral votes in Congress, a cadre of outside lawyers to the President spun a web of lies and disinformation, to him and to the public, for the purpose of pressuring the Vice President to betray his oath to uphold our laws and the Constitution of the United States."
Sounds like something I could have written. Or any of a number of critics of Trump and his lawyers. Or maybe a judge in contemplating sanctions against attorneys for propagating the Big Lie.
